My Dad Is Hard As Stone,
Unyielding, Tough And Strong,
He Built His Life With Strength Of Will,
And Never Ceded To The Wrong.
He Taught Me How To Stand My Ground,
To Face The World With Steady Gaze,
To Work With All My Might And Heart,
And To Rise To Life’s Challenges.
He Pushed Me To Be Better Still,
To Reach Beyond My Wildest Dreams,
And Though His Ways Were Hard At Times,
I Knew They Were To Make Me Strong.
He’s Been A Rock That I Can Lean On,
A Guide When I Am Lost,
And Though He’s Hard, I Know That He
Is The One Who Paid The Cost.
So Here’s To You, My Hard Dad,
For All That You Have Done,
You’ve Made Me Who I Am Today,
And I Am Forever Your Son.

My Father’s Strength Is Forged In Fire,
A Tough Exterior, Rough And Dire,
His Words Are Sharp, His Gaze Is Steady,
His Love, A Silent, Burning Pyre.
He Taught Me How To Face My Fears,
To Stand When Others Fall Away,
To Bear The Weight Of Life’s Harsh Truths,
And To Be Strong Each And Every Day.

To Strive For Greatness, To Be True,
And Though His Methods May Be Tough,

A Protector, Guide, And Friend,
Though Hard He May Be, I Am Grateful,
For The Love And Strength He’ll Always Extend.
So Here’s To You, My Hard Dad,
For All The Lessons You’ve Imparted,
